Talk about ending our 2018/19 season right!

Noon + Craig’s day was magic. With the moody skies, food truck deliciousness, stretch tent love and a local wine selection what could be more perfect.

There was such a relaxed & stylish vibe about the day, and to say our bride and groom really knew how to show their guests a good time was an understatement.

The food by Beat Kitchen was so delightful, mouthwatering and moreish…forget about going back for seconds, guests were going back for thirds and fourths. And we were even lucky enough to get in on tasting too. Lets just say, we hope everyone picks Beat Kitchen for any event we’re at!

The venue at TK Winery, in Martinborough was amazing - tentative staff, stunning views and the perfect wine to pair with the celebrations. And the tent from Stretch Tents was a perfect space to house the evening and protected the partiers as the sun went down.

It really was as good as it looked. It really was a loved-up day!

And a huge shout out to all the other amazing vendors who joined us in pulling off this pretty stunning day - ones we would recommend time after time.

Engaged...Where to start?

Firstly congrats on the engagement! 
Sometimes it's pretty overwhelming on where to start so here we have a few tips. 

  1. Pick a date - Maybe have 2 or 3 dates and run them past your immediate family to make sure there aren't any inital conflicts
  2. Choose a venue
  3. Book your Photographer & Videographer as their calendars tend to book the fastest
  4. Don't stress, enjoy the process

Styled Shoot - August, 2018

We had the privilege to work with an incredibly talented crew on this styled shoot. We were the style concept and coordination behind this beautiful project, but honestly the team work and amazing skill from the everyone is what made it perfect. It really was a fun day & so good for the creative soul!

Who we are?! What do we do?!

So, it's come to our attention that not many people know what we *actually* do at G&C. Understandably really - we kinda do it all when it comes to events and weddings - ha! I think we have been called a "caterer" more than a wedding coordinator in the last 6 moths, so we thought we need to change that! (Just an FYI - we aren't caterers. Just grazers!)

We thought it's about time to start explaining what we do. Break it down! Tell the people! Share our love for events! So we have now started doing little informative videos of us explaining what we do at Gather & Company. They really are super technical - like a cafe recording with our iPhones - ha. But really, we don't claim to be tech guru's, we are event managers and stylists, so a trustly iphone will just have to do.

The Royal Wedding

You know we put on fancy fascinators, popped a bottle of bubbles, enjoyed some cream scones and settled in for the night of Royal watching, right? I mean, these kind of weddings only come around every so often. Just think the next (major) Royal wedding will probably be one of Prince William or Prince Harry's kids - so that could be a wee way off. So needless to say, we enjoyed every second of watching Meghan Markle & Prince Harry marry!! 

One of us loved the dress and one of us thought perhaps something a little more tailored and exciting would have been fun. But the second dress was thumbs up from both of us, as was her veil and train. And of course our major love fest was with the beautiful flowers by Philippa Craddock, that so perfectly hugged the chapel door. We were in a visual heaven watching the newly weds step out under the door as they greeted those watching from afar.  The extra special part to this was that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have donated their wedding flowers to a hospice in Hackney. Patients and staff at St Joseph's Hospice, were no doubt thrilled at the lovely surprise!

It really was a real life fairy tale - from their stolen romantic glances to the very excited pageboy. To the way her mother Doria Raglan, held her self so poised with so much grace and beauty. To the flowers Price Harry picked for his brides bouquet and the way Meghan leaned over and opened the door for her new husband. It was was a beautiful celebration, that we felt privileged to have witnessed (even if it was from the comfort of our warm, comfy lounge). We  now wish them a life time of love and joy together!
